Johnson County Government has built a strong working relationship with Lauren Fleischer and Image Flooring. The County most recently completed a 2,500 yard carpet tile installation at our Human Services Building with Image Flooring. The installation took place over the course of three weeks, during both day and evening hours. It impacted public meeting and training rooms, public corridors, clinic circulation areas, HIPAA regulated records rooms, open-office areas (Knoll Morrison systems furniture), private offices (Knoll case goods) and various conference and work rooms. All of the furniture and equipment remained in place and the "lift system" was used to replace the carpet under the Knoll systems furniture.
As the Facilities Project Coordinator, I worked with Lauren initially on the carpet selection and specification. She kept me updated on the status of the carpet while it was in production and notified me once the product had shipped. We worked together with the building maintenance staff and representatives from various Johnson County departments to coordinate the installation schedule.
Rick Montgomery with Image Flooring was the installation foreman. He worked closely, during the installation, with Jeff Gillespie our Building Engineer and her maintenance staff. They coordinated the delivery and staging of the new product as well as the removal and recycling of the existing carpet. Although an initial instaliation schedule had been determined, we requested a flexible crew that would be sensitive to the needs of the staff and customers that frequent the building. When modifications were requested the crew was able to react without hesitation. During the course of the project, the crew arrived on time each day, was quick to address any concerns by staff and building maintenance, worked quietly and kept their work area clean and free of clutter. Due to the nature of the records kept by the Public Health department, HIPAA guidelines as well as additional security policies were followed by the installation crew.
At the conclusion of the installation, a walk thru was conducted. There were only a few minor items that needed to be addressed. They were completed to the satisfaction of Jeff Gillespie, with-in one business day.
As a facilities manager, I have several projects going at all times. I rely on quality consultants with a strong work ethic to complete projects on time, with-in budget and with little to no disruption to our staff, I was very satisfied with the work Image Flooring did on this project and would highly recommend them for any flooring project. I would like to commend you and your staff on a job well done during our recent carpet replacement project. The organizational and professionalism of your team was clearly evident throughout the replacement process. Without the careful planning and detailed scheduling, the replacement of our 30,000 yards would have been disasterous.
As with all projects of this size, having 1,500+ people occuping the majority of the space in the working area, we did encounter some issues. The few issues that did arise during the installation, your field/installation crews worked quickly and professionally to resolve thus maintaining our aggressive replacement schedule. Kauffinan Stadium Renovations & Improvements
As the Construction Manager for Kansas City Royals, I had the pleasure of working with Image Flooring on the Kauffman Stadium Renovation Project. My company provided the construction management services for the entire project. The project consisted of an entire renovation of the existing stadium as well as the addition of a new administrative building, children's outfield play area, and upgrades to all of the suites/concession areas. We worked directly with Jennifer Talley of Image Flooring from procurement through closeout of the project to provide the Owner with beautiful flooring products that would be timeless for the stadium.

As a Building Manager for FBL Financial Group, I have had the pleasure ofproc~ring the services of" Image Flooring for our approximate 17,000 SY carpet tile take up and install. MYbomp~rly.s deSign team provided the design and specified Interface as the carpet manufacturer. We specified afurniture lift and glueless installation using Interface's tactile technology. We also specified for all take up of the existing Collins Aikman carpet to be recycled. Image Flooring led by Jennifer Talley ran the project from that point forward.
Overall the service provided by Image Flooring was truly a delight especially considering the scope of the project. Our previous carpet tile was over 20 years old and had been installed incorrectly with basically too much adhesive making the take up process labor intensive. Our systemsflirniture which was lifted with minimal damage or problems is Herman Miller. This was my first experience with the process of lifting a section of largely grouped cubicles, which I now highly recommend to limit business disruption. Any challenges and difficulties were handled with the utmost of professionalism including their installers. All of their staff was courteous and professional in their interaction with our employees andquStomers. Each and all phases of the project were well planned and coordinated with great execution.
